Competition Rules for «WIN YOUR CHARGE»
The «WIN YOUR CHARGE» contest is being held by FLO Services Inc. on the FLO EV Charging Facebook page from Monday, May 24th to June 18th 2020. All references in this document to times refer to the time zone in effect locally in the city of Montreal, province of Quebec. (ET Time)
1. How to participate
1.1 To participate in the contest «WIN YOUR CHARGE» you the form on the publication of the contest. Only one entry per person is allowed.
1.2 There will be a total of one (1) draw among the participants who have registered via the Facebook form. The draw will take place on June 21th at noon. (ET time)
1.3 No purchase necessary.
2. Eligibility requirements
2.1 To be eligible for the «WIN YOUR CHARGE» contest and the draw, participants must reside in Canada and be 18 years of age or older or, if under the age of majority, must agree to provide FLO Services Inc. with a parent’s or guardian's contact details so that they can be contacted to agree to the prize being awarded to the winning minor.
2.2 By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by the contest rules.
2.3 The Directors, officers and employees of FLO Services Inc. and their parent companies and subsidiaries, sponsors, suppliers of materials and services related to this contest, as well as members of their immediate families (brothers, sisters, children, parents, legal or de facto spouses) and persons living in the same household as them, are not eligible to participate in this contest.
2.4 To be eligible for the draw, participants must register via the form on Facebook which is specifically provided for this purpose.
3. The prize
3.1 $100 in FLO recharge credits.
3.2 The prize must be accepted as awarded, without substitution. It is not transferable, cannot be sold and has no cash value.
4. The draw
4.1 One (1) random draw, from amongst all eligible participants who have fill the Facebook form June 18th at 3 p.m. (ET time) at the latest.
4.2 To be declared a winner, the participant whose name was drawn must be a resident of Canada, 18 years of age or older (or have parental consent if applicable) and be registered via the Facebook form and comply with all other conditions described in these rules. Failure to comply with one or more of these conditions will result in automatic disqualification and a new draw will be held to determine a new winner.
4.3 Insofar as the selected participant has fulfilled all the aforementioned conditions, he/she will be notified by email or telephone within seventy-two (72) business hours following the draw, to confirm that he/she has won and to validate his/her contact information.
4.4 FLO Services Inc. is not responsible for any failed attempts to contact a selected participant.
4.5 If the selected entrant cannot be reached by email or telephone within seventy-two (72) business hours of the draw, the entrant will be deemed to have renounced his/her prize and will be disqualified. Another participant will then be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries until a new winner is declared.
5. General Rules
5.1 By entering this contest, participants expressly acknowledge that this contest is not associated with, managed or sponsored by Facebook. Facebook is in no way responsible for the holding of this contest.
5.2 Any information submitted in the form that is erroneous, incomplete, incomprehensible, fraudulent or contains false information will be automatically rejected.
5.3 The participants in this contest as well as the winners irrevocably release Services FLO Inc. from any and all liability, for any damage or loss that may arise from participation in this contest or that may arise from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize or that may arise from any provision of services in connection with the said prize.
5.4 The winner accepts the prize without any legal or other warranty from the Released Parties.
5.5 The winner authorizes the contest organizers to use his/her name, city of residence, image, photograph, voice, statement and/or presence for publicity or other purposes in connection with this contest, without any time, media or territory restrictions, and without any form of compensation.
5.6 If the winner refuses to accept the prize, this releases the Released Parties from any and all liability and obligations towards the winner.
5.7 The Released Parties assume no responsibility for the failure of any website used for the purposes of the contest or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, service providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or transmissions sent or received due to technical or other problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or on any other website, or any combination thereof, including damage to participant’s or any other person's computer equipment, which may occur whilst participating in this contest.
5.8 The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any loss, delay, misdirection, misprint or other error in connection with this contest.
5.9 The Released Parties assume no liability whatsoever in relation to any cases where their inability to act is the result of an unforeseeable event or situation beyond their control, including but not limited to strikes, lockouts or any other labor dispute within their establishment or within the organizations or companies whose services are used to hold this contest.
5.10 The personal information requested from participants in the context of the contest will be used solely by FLO Services Inc. or a third party authorized by the latter for the purposes of the contest. This information will not be used for any other purpose without the participants' consent. By providing this information, participants consent to its use for the purposes indicated.
5.11 In the event of unavailability due to factors beyond their control, the Released Parties reserve the exclusive and absolute right to substitute a prize of an equivalent value and nature, without recourse for the winner.
